Oakdale Central Industrial Estate – St Clair Carrier Sewer
The scope of works included constructing
- 2kms of 375-500mm GRP gravity carrier main to transport flows from the WSEA to the existing East St Clair carrier,
- 1km of micro tunnelling 375mm to 500mm GRP
- Manholes 4m to 13m deep
- Vent shafts up to 14m high
- Concrete encased creek crossings
- Connections into existing pipework
- CCTV, air test, vacuum testing to Sydney Water standards
The complexities of the job included micro-tunnelling under Sydney Water’s Warragamba to Prospect dual pipeline, excavating and shoring micro-tunnel boring and receiving shafts up to 14m deep, building manholes up to 13.5m deep
